How to read these numbers

The Radar tracks the price of sunglasses every day, since November 6, 2026. When a pair of sunglasses drops below its usual price of the last 30 days, it moves up to the deals list. The price is the lowest from a trusted store collected on each date.

Compared with Nov 6, 1 day ago.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Radar calculate how much the pair of sunglasses dropped?

It compares the lowest price from a trusted store of the same pair of sunglasses, with the same version, in two checks: today’s and the base date’s. Each model appears once, with the version that dropped the most; other versions that also dropped stay inside the card. The drop in dollars is the difference, and the drop in percentage is that difference over the earlier price. A change below 0.5% is left out, because it’s just rounding.

Which date does the Radar compare against?

With the most recent check that is 7 days old or more; if no model dropped in that window, with the most recent one that is 30 days old or more. The actual comparison date is written on the page and on each card. Today: compared with nov 6, 1 day ago.

Does a price drop mean it’s time to buy?

We don’t say that. Prices go up and down, and the list only shows what changed between two dates. The final price is the one at the store, and the spec score we show next to it doesn’t change with the price.

Why doesn’t a pair of sunglasses that got cheaper show up?

Only models in both checks, with a seller that meets the Radar’s criteria and a change above 0.5%, are included. If the pair of sunglasses left the catalog or switched to a seller that doesn’t qualify, it drops out of the comparison instead of showing the price of another offer.

Where the numbers come from

Each Radar check stores the lowest price from a trusted store for each pair of sunglasses. This page compares today’s check with the base date’s, pair of sunglasses by pair of sunglasses (same identifier, same version). 2 checks stored to date.

The price is the one collected on the date shown and changes without notice. If the cheapest seller changes between one check and the next, the change reflects that switch. A price drop is not a quality score or a recommendation.
